Charlottenburg Castle Christmas Market in Berlin is host to one of the most famous Christmas Markets in the German capital. For 35 days the castle and its park are immersed in a special romantic light and a unique ensemble is created with approximately 150 vendors from all over Germany as well as abroad. Alongside attractive temporary and permanent exhibitions inside the castle, the Christmas market presents carefully selected arts and crafts, ancient handicrafts, and wellchosen gastronomy inside of festively decorated cabins and exclusive glass pagodas.

The Lucia Christmas market is named for the Lucia festival, celebrated on the feast of St Lucy on 13 December especially in the Scandinavian countries.

The market accordingly focuses on Nordic traditions and offerings. For entertainment, for example, the Luciakör offers Swedish Christmas songs, as well as other music from Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Norway. Be in awe as you watch Dulce Compania on their high stilts while children have fun on the nostalgic whirligig.

The particular hallmark of the Lucia Christmas market is a large heater where visitors can warm up in the chilly December nights. But the classic Sweden log candle invites you to linger.

This is one of the most popular Christmas markets in Berlin during the festive season.
